On November 22nd, 2024, at 13:55 Cochranville Fire Company along with Keystone Valley Fire Department EMS were dispatched to the 900 block of Gap Newport Pike in West Fallowfield Township for an auto accident.

Cochranville Fire Company units and Ambulance 8-1 made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported two vehicles with two subjects injured. Assistant 27 (Lapp) and assumed command of the incident while Ambulance 8-1's crew began triaging the scene for patients. At the request of Ambulance 8-1's crew a 2nd ambulance and a medic were requested to the scene.

Cochranville Fire Company units arrived to control the hazards on the vehicles and direct traffic around the accident scene. The 2nd ambulance was from Westwood Fire Company EMS Division and the Medic was from Southern Chester County EMS. Ambulance 44 arrived and was given their patient by Ambulance 8-1's crew. Two patients were transported to area hospitals for injuries sustained from the accident. Cochranville Fire Company units remained on the scene to assist the police department and to await the arrival of a tow company.

Ambulance 8-1 cleared the call at 16:15.
