Working Building Fire In West Sadsbury Township

On June 6th, 2025, at 7:12 Keystone Valley Fire Department along with area mutual aid were dispatched to the 2000 block of Swan Road in West Sadsbury Township for a building fire.

Keystone Valley Fire Department units and the mutual aid made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported a fire behind the stove in a shop.

Captain 43 (Patton) arrived and reported a single story 2 bay garage with smoke showing and requested the "Working Fire Dispatch". Assistant 8 (Delestienne) arrived and held the command for this incident Arriving units were tasked with fire suppression, Ventilation, Salvage and Overhaul. Ambulance 8-1 arrived and setup Rehab for the personnel operating on the scene.

Due to the quick response by volunteer personnel the fire was extinguished quickly, which the fire was then placed under control and the assignment was scaled back to the units on-scene. Notifications were made to the utility companies along with local and county Fire Marshal's.

All units were clear of the call at 8:08.
