On September 6th, 2025, Keystone Valley Fire Department personnel attended the annual 911 memorial stair climb which was held at Penn Medicine Park in Lancaster City. The event is hosted by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Participants climb the equivalent of 110 stories while carrying a picture badge of one of the fallen FDNY firefighters. Completing the stair climb symbolically completes the climb FDNY firefighters tried to do on September 11, 2001.

Thanks to everyone who attended and to the organizers who worked so hard to put this event together every year. We would like to thank our VOLUNTEER personnel who took time out of their busy schedules to attend this important event. Today our contribution will go towards helping families throughout the nation who have lost a firefighter in the line of duty.
