| Great News for KVFD!
The KVFD Board of Directors is pleased to announce that our Community Project Grant request to replace our aging Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) has officially been funded by the federal government. This is a major win for our department, especially after previously being denied on multiple occasions.
This funding supports one of the most critical pieces of equipment we rely on—gear that is essential to our core mission and the safety of our firefighters. As a volunteer fire department with limited resources, this award removes a significant financial burden and allows us to allocate our funds toward other vital needs as we continue serving our communities and District.
On behalf of all of our members, our Board, and the Keystone Valley Fire District, we extend our sincere thanks to Representative Houlahan and her team for their continued support and advocacy on our behalf. We look forward to working with you through the grant process.
