Serious Accident on Route 10 at Boroline Road

KVFD and Westwood EMS were dispatched to South Church Street and Boroline Road for a two-vehicle accident at 9:03 p.m.

Initial reports indicated two vehicles involved with several injuries. Rescue 8 arrived on scene and confirmed the report, finding individuals down in the roadway self extricated.

Deputy 8 (Gathercole) established Route 10 Command and reported five patients, including three children and two adults, requiring transport.

Personnel from Rescue 8 and Tac 8 assisted with patient care and helped Medic 344 triage the injured individuals.

EMS was provided by Westwood EMS, Modena EMS, and Lanco Christiana.

Fire Police closed Route 10 at Highland Road in Highland Township as well as at Route 10 and Route 372.

The accident is under investigation by Parkesburg Police.

The roadway has reopened and all units have cleared the scene.
