| While clearing the Parkesburg VFW Parade in Parkesburg, the Keystone Valley Fire Department responded to assist the Cochranville Fire Company in Highland Township at the scene of a two-vehicle accident involving fire and possible entrapment on Route 10 at Old Limestone Road.
Chief 27 arrived and confirmed no entrapment but had one vehicle on fire.
Rescue 8 responded with a crew of six members, along with EMS and Utility 8 to provide assistance with fire police duties.
Upon arrival, Rescue 8 crews deployed a hand line to extinguish the vehicle fire and provided support to EMS with patient care.
Two individuals were evaluated at the scene. The Pennsylvania State Police at Avondale handled the investigation of the accident.
This incident was a mutual aid response in support of Cochranville Fire Conpany Station # 27. |
