| On Monday night Parkesburg Volunteers gathered for Part 2 of our new vehicles technology's class. Jim Ling of ESI was gracious enough to travel to Station 28 for the last two weeks and review new techniques with our crews. Last week was spent reviewing the techniques in a class room setting and was followed by a brief Q&A session. This week crews loaded up in the Rescue and traveled to the Null's towing facility for the hands on training. After arriving at the vehicle recovery area crews briefly reviewed what scenarios we would be doing for the night. After the review all crews were split up and the night started. After approximately three hours all crews became proficient with the new techniques that we were taught. Thanks to Jim for traveling down and providing us with these new tools for our arsenal. Also a big thanks to Null's towing for allowing us to use your facilities and providing the vehicles. Ambulance 28 also handled a Medical Local in the Boro during this training. |
