| Saturday afternoon at 1219 hours Engine 28(RIT) along with Tower/Ladder 28 were dispatched to assist Coatesville Fire Department on a working structure fire in the 400 blk of Oak Street. Coatesville units arrived onscene to find a working fire in the middle of a row and immediately went in service with handline's and search duties. Tower/Ladder 28 made the response with Engine 28 following close behind. Upon arrival Tower/Ladder 28 sent staffing to the manpower pool while Engine 28 set up RIT operations. Tower/Ladder 28's crews assisted with securing utilities to all fire units and checking the basements for extension. After securing the utilities crews were utilized on the 2nd floor of the main fire unit in checking for extension. Chief 43(Johnson) stood down RIT and released Engine 28 within 45 minutes. After completing assigned tasks Chief 43 also released Tower/Ladder 28. Tower/Ladder 28 returned to service within one hour of dispatch.
