| On April 2nd, Station 28 was dispatched at 3:53 pm for wires at 2 East Highland Rd. Chief 28 arrived on location and determined that there were no services needed at that location. Chief 28 then reassigned the responding units to Rt. 10 North of Highland Rd. for the Brush Fire. It was found that the brush fire was a result of a power surge originating in Cochranville which traveled North along Route 10 towards Pakesburgcausing numerous transformers to arc setting off the brush. Engine 28 crews extinguished the fire and cleared. |
