| AT 4:47 PM, KVFD was dispatched for an accident with unknown injuries in the 3500 block of Limestone Road, in Highland Township. Initial reports were that two vehicles were involved.
Chief Stackhouse responded as Command. Also responding was Ambulance 8 and soon thereafter, Rescue 8 with five firefighters, and Traffic 8.
The Chief arrived and reported icing conditions on Rt.#10. He also reported that there were no injuries and extrication was not required. Highland Township Fire Marshal Gerald McKee also responded and assisted.
Cochranville Fire Company responded with Utility 27 and assisted with traffic control.
Firefighters handled hazard control while Fire Police assisted with traffic control, and all units cleared at 5:28 PM.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution overnight and in the morning rush hour over the next week. Icing conditions will be prevalent. |
