KVFD will soon be providing 9-1-1 address numbers, at $15.00 per sign. Ass't Chief Robbie Cazillo, who is spearheading the effort, said,"in an emergency, every second counts and it is critical that each residence and business have easily recognized signs posted as required by the municipal codes." He continued, "In addition we ask our municipal officials to check street signs and ensure that all streets, especially those rural ones, are properly marked. After the Winter we had I am sure that many signs were knocked down and may need to be replaced."
