"Race into Scouting - Run with the Pack"

For the second year, KVFD is partnering with Parkesburg Pack 135 in a recruiting event. KVFD firefighters will provide the following demonstrations and activities for the kids, and then they can meet with the Cubmaster and learn about Pack #135 at 6:30 PM on Wednesday night, September 16, 2015.

Tentatively we will have four stations each with either a demonstration, display or activity.

#1: Forcible Entry

#2: EMS/Ambulance display via career staff

#3: Tac 8 with a trash line - spraying on a target?

#4: TOG demo

#5: Ladder 8 static display

For the next few months, Cub Scouts throughout the area will team up to encourage boys in first through fifth grade to sign up for Scouts.

Classrooms throughout Chester County will receive a special invitation through in-school broadcasts, flyers, and special stickers to join Scouting.

The campaign is part of the Chester County Council’s annual membership drive. This fall, over 1,300 young people will join Cub Scouts.

Parkesburg Pack 135 is chartered to Keystone Valley Fire Department and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the Boy Scouts.
