Accident at Boro Line and Old Stottsville Road |

On Friday evening at 7:12 PM, KVFD was dispatched along with a paramedic from Brandywine Hospital to an accident involving an overturned vehicle on Boro Line Road at Old Stottsville Road in Highland Township. The caller, a passerby, reported the vehicle was blocking the road and three occupants were out. Ambulance 8-1, Rescue 8, Engine 8-1 and Fire Marshal 45, Gerald McKee, responded. Ass't Chief Cazillo assumed Command. Ambulance 8-1 conducted triage and found two of the three refusing treatment, with a third requiring treatment and ALS transport to Brandywine Hospital with the Brandywine Hospital ALS provider on-board. KVFD crews and Fire Marshal McKee assisted the PA State Police with traffic control and the tow service with hazard clean-up. All units returned to service at 8:27 PM. |
