At 2:48 PM, KVFD was dispatched for Ladder 8 to assist the Christiana Fire Company (Lanco) with a house fire reported in the 100 block of Lower Valley Road in Atglen, Chester County. The Gap Fire Company and Cochranville Fire Company were also dispatched along with Christiana Community Ambulance for EMS.

The caller reported to 9-1-1 that the rear of the residence was on fire. Ladder 8 responded and upon arrival all crews were staged for manpower while Christiana and Gap firefighters investigated. There was no fire, it had been extinguished prior to firefighter's arrival, and investigation was TOT the Christiana Fire Company and the Chester County Fire Marshal.

Ladder 8 returned to quarters by 3:21 PM.
