Today, three KVFD members returning from EVOC training at Station #27,stopped to assist with an accident that just occurred on Rt.#10 at Gum Tree Road by checking for injuries, and assisting in traffic control.

EMT Knotts, FF/EMT Shultz, and FF Vazquez assisted until released by troopers.

All KVFD active crew members were trained and certified in fire police operations this year as an initiative by Chief Stackhouse to reduce liability,control risk and ensure members are protected by Worker's Comp insurance if injured while directing traffic at incident scenes.
