On Saturday afternoon, KVFD with surrounding fire companies, was invited to attend the housing and dedication of Sadsburyville's Engine 31-1.

Deputy Chief Brian Gathercole represented KVFD with BOD Chair-person Ray Campbell, EMT Penny Knotts, and Fire Police Lt. Bob Linsinbigler also attending. Most of our active crew were attending a two day long training class and weren't available.

Sadsbury Fire Company put together a great housing of their Engine 31-1 along with a dedication of the Engine to long time life member and Engineer Claude "BUZZ" Reynolds. Engine 31-1 was dedicated to Buzz for all of his dedication and repect to the service and to the Sadsbury Fire Company. At the housing was Buzz Reynolds family and friends.

Buzz started his Career in the Fire Service for the Coatesville Fire Department and retired with over 30 years on the job. Buzz continues to serve Sadsbury Fire Company as the Engineer. Buzz is known by many of us in the fire service for being a master operator and his ability to keep fire units looking clean.

The KVFD thanks Sadsbury Fire Company for inviting us to attend and wish you the best of luck with Engine 31-1.

Sadsbury FC upon completion of the housing invited all personnel back to Wagontown Fire Company for a celebration and Banquet.
