On Sunday KVFD traveled to the West Chester Fire Training Center for a day of live burn drills, i.e., practicing skills learned over the last few weeks in live fire conditions. Ladder 8, Rescue 8 and Ambulance 8-1 under command of Capt. Schreiber attended while Rescue 40 from the Boothwyn Fire Company, Delaware County assisted in covering the District.
