At 1:46 PM on Thursday, November 20, 2014, KVFD was dispatched to an accident with injuries, reported to be a car into a railroad bridge abutment on Greenbelt Drive at Old Wilmington Road, Sadsbury Township, Chester County. A medic unit from Brandywine Hospital with an Engine from Sadsburyville Fire Co. were also dispatched.

Ambulance 8-2 responded with Tac-8 also responding. Upon arrival EMT's found that there was one person with minor injuries, no extrication was necessary, and additional fire units and the paramedic were recalled. Ambulance 8-2 transported one person to Brandywine Hospital for evaluation while the crews from Tac 8 assisted the PD and tow service until the roadway was clear.
