On Friday evening at 6:25 PM KVFD with multiple surrounding fire and EMS resources responded to Rt.#30 at Commons Drive in West Sadsbury Township for a serious accident.
Initial reports were that a tractor-trailer and a car were involved with entrapment, and a fire reported with up to four patients to be treated.
Chief 8 arrived and confirmed the report. Upon the arrival of firefighters, extrication was started and the victims were treated by EMS. Extrication was complete by 6:52 PM.
Firefighters assisted in scene clean-up while fire police officers directed traffic.
EMS transported the four victims to a local hospital.

West Sadsbury Township Police are investigating.
As of 7:50 PM fire police were still assisting the police with traffic control on-scene.
During this incident, local EMS also responded to a cardiac arrest in the Borough of Parkesburg.
