KVFD was dispatched at 2124 hours to a fire type unknown in the 200 block of Green Street in Parkesburg Borough. KVFD personnel were finishing-up Monday night training and Engine 8, Ladder 8, Tac 8 & Ambulance 8-1 made the responses.

Engine 8 arrived on-scene along with Ladder 8 at 2128 hours with crews investigating. Captain 8-A (Marks) advised of a fire to the C-(Charlie) side of the structure. The incident involved a small fire to the rear of the dwelling. Chief 8 arrived on-scene and assumed the Green Street Command and requested the Fire Marshals and held the assignment to KVFD units.

Personnel had one 1 3/4 line in service and handled the incident on-scene. The incident was placed under control at 2137 hours. Crews assisted on-scene with overhaul.

The incident was cleared at 2234 hours.

The incident was investigated by the Chester County Fire Marshals and the Parkesburg Borough Fire Marshal.
