On March 13th, 2024, at 13:30 the Keystone Valley Fire Department was dispatched to the 3200 block of Lower Valley Road in West Sadsbury Township for a reported brush fire.

Rescue, Tanker, Utility, Ambulance 8-1 all made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported a 25x25 area of brush was on fire and advised that the fire was 100 feet off of the roadway.

Rescue 8 led by Captain Demarco arrived to find confirm the report and advised of a second 50x50 area involved as well. The Rescue crew began extinguishment of the areas. Ambulance 8-1 arrived and stood by while the fire personnel operated at the scene. The fires were placed under control a short time later.

Keystone Valley Fire Department units cleared the scene at 14:18.
