Chester County Burn Ban -

Effective Sunday October 27th at 5:00 PM

Due to extraordinarily dry conditions and a sudden spike in local wildfires, the Chester County Commissioners instituted a ban on open burning in Chester County.

This is Chester County Wide

It will take effect this Sunday, 10/27 at 5:00pm and last until December 26th, 2024 unless the Board of Commissioners terminates the ban sooner.

Those in violation of it will risk receiving fines.
