On May 28th, 2025, at 16:24 Cochranville Fire Company along with Keystone Valley Fire Department EMS Division were dispatched to the 400 block of Gum Tree Road in Highland Township for an auto accident.
Cochranville Fire Company units and Ambulance 8 made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported 1 vehicle versus a house.
Deputy 27 (Kocher) arrived and confirmed a 3-vehicle accident with 1 vehicle that struck a corner of the house. Deputy 27 arrived and confirmed the report and advised that 1 subject would need to be checked. Ambulance 8 arrived, and their crew began evaluating the injured subject. Cochranville Fire Company units arrived and controlled the hazards on the vehicles while investigating the structural integrity of the house.
Cochranville personnel determined that the structural integrity of the home was stable. Ambulance 8 obtained a refusal from the subject and was released from the scene. Cochranville Fire Company personnel remained on the scene to await the arrival of a local tow company and assist with traffic control around the accident scene.
Ambulance 8 cleared the call at 17:15. |
