On July 8th, 2025, at 18:02 Sadsburyville Fire Company along with Keystone Valley Fire Department EMS Division and Westwood Paramedics were dispatched to the area of Old Wilmington Road and North Street in Sadsbury Township for an auto accident with entrapment.
Sadsburyville Fire Company units along with Ambulance 8-1, Ambulance 8-2, and Medic 344 made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the reporting 1 vehicle overturned with 1 subject trapped and in serious condition. Additional callers reported 2 subjects trapped in serious condition.
Medic 344 was the first arriving unit to confirm a single vehicle accident with 1 subject trapped. Deputy 31 (Grossman) arrived and held the command for this incident. Ambulance 8-1 and Ambulance 8-2 arrived and assisted Medic 344 with patient care and upon Rescue 31's arrival they were tasked with extrication of the subject. The subject was extricated from the vehicle at 18:24 and was given to EMS for a further evaluation and transport.
Ambulance 8-1 and Medic 344 transported the subject to an area trauma center for their injuries. Ambulance 8-2 cleared the scene and went available to cover any additional calls that may have come in for the area. Sadsburyville Fire Company Fire Police remained on the scene to assist the police department with traffic control around the accident scene.
