On January 7, 2026, at 9:24 a.m., Keystone Valley Fire Department EMS was dispatched to the 7000 block of North Moscow Road in West Sadsbury Township for a report of a pedestrian struck.
Ambulance 8-1 and Ambulance 8-2 responded within one minute of dispatch. Chester County 911 Center advised responding units that the West Sadsbury Township Police Department was already on scene with a pedestrian who had been run over by her own vehicle.
Upon arrival, Keystone Valley Fire Department EMS personnel met with police officers at the scene. The officers reported that they had been clearing another call nearby when they observed a woman lying in a driveway. They stopped to investigate and immediately began caring for the injured woman until EMS units arrived. Medic 344 was also present, providing medical care and advising that the patient would require transport to a trauma center due to the nature of her injuries.
Keystone Valley Fire Department EMS personnel and a Westwood Paramedic worked together to prepare the patient for transport. Once prepared, the patient was placed in Ambulance 8-1 and transported with Medic 344 to an area trauma center.
