Today marks George Budzik’s 77th birthday.

Few may know that George has been a dedicated member of the Parkesburg fire service since 1973. George is a a life member and remains are “First Acting” at Keystone Valley Fire Department.

George serves as our “First Acting,” representing the most experienced member who continues to assist and guide our younger team members each day.

Even at age 77, George responds to emergencies regularly, setting an example for younger members that age does not limit commitment or capability.

George’s dedication to service has inspired his family as well. His son, Gregory, remains an active member, working alongside him.

We recognize George Budzik for his remarkable devotion. With 53 years of service since 1973, his commitment to the community stands as an enduring example for us all.
