At 2:48PM KVFD was dispatched to a report of an odor of natural gas, or gas leak outside in the 200 block of Grant Street, Parkesburg Borough. Ambulance 8, Ladder 8, and Squad 8-2 responded.
Ass't Chief Cazillo assumed command and assigned FF O'Connell and FF Barrett to investigate. Investigation revealed a leak on a bad valve on a gas meter set for repair with with light emissions. PECO Energy was notified, and all units returned to service at 3:05PM.
